catch up, the sequel...

What's a girl to do without a smarty phone or internet at home?? After 3.5 hours of work from Comcast we are once again ready to surf and I'm hoping that's the last big blogging interrupt for quite a while!

So let's catch up!

Day 12: Fork


Meals have been a rainy glamping (glamourous camping) adventure around here. Our first few days in the new house we were without a stove - relying on crock pots and hibachis to get something warm in our tummies. So nice to be back in action with this retro Craigslist score!

Day 13: A sign




Signs of the coming Spring... I love seeing everything burst with color so much, I took two pics! This first beauty is in our new yard and the second pic could be on almost any street corner around town which is just magical!

Day 14: Clouds


Dark and ominous. It's been raining like crazy around here...

Day 15: Car


Subaru - it seems to be the Oregon way...

Day 16: Sunglasses


The bug and I found ourselves out and about during a rare dry/sunny moment today as we stopped into a crazy little local video store called Movie Madness to pick up a classic John Wayne flick. We're set for a fun St. Patty's evening tomorrow with corned beef and cabbage, boiled potatoes and The Quiet Man.

Day 11: Someone you talked to today
Every day. All day. She is such a chatter box, but she says the funniest things and has real conversations with me! I love it

I hear you

Day 10: Loud
Wonderfully loud giggling ensued when I took a moment out of packing and remodeling to build a pillow fort for the bug and climb in and play for a bit... We have been playing pass the baby a lot lately, thanks in no small way to our amazing family and friends, so hubby and I can both be at the house remodeling and I am so happy to be moving in this Sunday! Monday morning we return to our regularly scheduled programing with lots of mama and bug time!

Day 9: Red
Matthew 6:34. Trying to live in the busy moment and soak up the triumphs and troubles of each day... It's been hard to put the to-do list out of my mind at night.

Day 8: Window
An adorable little bit of Italy in our neighborhood that I am wanting to try. DOC Food + Wine. The menu sounds super yummy and the windows remind me of my croatian grandma's house growing up... 

Catch up...

Life has been cRazy and I haven't had much time to get my pictures on here so today will be about getting back on track.

A little peek at our new neighborhood. So far we are enjoying the quiet street and friendly neighbors.

A landing spot for empty milk cups, baby dolls and whatever mama and bug are currently reading...

Day 5: A smile

A sweet treat to see these smiling faces in my front yard all the way from Colorado. Best hour of our day!

Day 6: 5pm

Things are looking up at the new house! Miles of tile = a tired and sore me, but I love how it is coming together.

Day 7: Something you wore

Grungy clothes, some paint, and lots of thinset...

This is my view throughout most of the day - this little bug follows me around gazing up at me with those big brown eyes and reaching out those cute little hands to constantly request to come "up mama"... who can resist the powers of this snuggle bug!
