Well, I guess two kids, homeschooling, and home remodeling don't leave much time for blogging! Getting ready to freshen things up around here and start posting some home tour before and after pics... Stick around - we've been busy!

Fiercly Spring

A wild entrance into another Oregon spring... Sunshine, pouring rain, hail storms and thick grey clouds. Love it!



Well hello there! Still waiting to see what color those lovely eyes are going to be.



After a bed wetting mishap, the bug wanted to snuggle up to her nightlight in our spare bedroom. Love this little beauty!



And I couldn't resist capturing this little pose. So glad taking this picture didn't wake her up! This girl LOVES to sleep!

In my kitchen...

The lovely remains of a really yummy meal! This recipe was super simple, quick and tasty.



The pork was so tender and tasty, but I wasn't crazy about the flavor combo in the sauce...



Lemon and butter green beans - a go to veggie dish in our house.



Late night offerings. I made a chocolate chip Irish cream poundcake drizzled with Irish cream hot fudge sauce for our St. Paddy's day homegroup dinner. Yum!! FYI I used regular cream cheese and let the cake sit for over 24 hours before serving...

The bug has been enjoying our carboard mock up of the new kitchen counter space - she's claimed it as her own already!

A couple of my favorite ladies threw a wonderful baby shower for our sweet girl and I just had to share some of the fun pics!

10 months...

Watch that belly grow! So glad to have this collection to show my sweet girl when she asks how she grew in my tummy. The 10 month pic cracks me up! So swollen, look of discomfort on my face, and clearly shirts weren't really fitting me anymore...

Busy

My mom is wonderful at feeding my love of magazines and catalogs!



I suppose now that she is 6 weeks old I should start using all these lovely FuzziBunz...




One day it's all scribbles and attempted circles and the next she is drawing her first little person - we are so delighted and amazed!

The little bursts of sunshine sure make me want to garden - for now a little start of herbs is enough.

This little one took a lovely nap while we all played/worked in the yard.



Some adorable little guy came home with me this weekend from an amazing baby shower my friends threw for me. So fun! More on that later...



Oh and while I was being showered with a mountain of adorable baby clothes, hubby was tearing out this wall to kick off our kitchen/laundry room/dining room remodel! Eek!
